Bloomsday Celebration – Tuesday 16 June 2015Posted: June 2, 2015
Our celebration of everything to do with James Joyce but in particular his novel Ulysses, set in Dublin on the 16th of June in the year 1904.
The programme will include readings from Joyce’s works concerned with food and drink – from breakfast in the Martello tower to cocoa in Eccles Street.
You will find us here:
Whitelocks Ale House, Turks Head Yard, Leeds. LS1 6HB
on Tuesday 16th of June, 2015 from 7.30pm to 11pm.
As always audience participation is welcome. Come and join in the readings, discussion and songs.
We’ll also try to answer the question of whether Leopold Bloom, while eating in Dublin, is being consumed by Dublin!
